Holiday Season Outfit Ideas
Need some holiday season outfit inspiration? Look no further. Holiday season is upon us, which means lots of invites for holiday parties and white elephant soirees. There’s no need to spend money on a completely new outfit, either. The main theme here is jewel tones and gold accessories. If you have a red, green or black outfit, just upgrade it with some gold accessories and some going-out shoes, and you’re good to go. Still not sure if you have something ready to wear sitting in your closet? I have five super cute holiday party outfits below, from fancy to edgy to casual to help you settle on the perfect holiday party look to suit your style. As a side note, none of these pieces are maternity pieces, but you can read more about my pregnancy journey here.
1. For a New Year’s Eve Celebration
Sula May Two- Piece Sweater Dress
Chic and practical, stay warm in this two-piece sweater dress from Sula May. Sequins and sparkles were cute in your early 20s, and maybe that style is still your jam. For something a little more grown up, try something simple with a little bit of leg exposure for a more classic look. Black is the perfect hue for New Year’s Eve because it goes with everything and it never goes out of style, much like this winterized LBD (little black dress). Wear with heels and a warm oversize coat.
2. Date Night Holiday Celebration for Just the Two of You
Sometimes, you just need a break from all of the holiday hoopla. Go on a date night out with the hubs to reconnect in the midst of all of the chaos of wrapping presents and having family over. Wear a midi dress with block heel sandals, but make it edgy with a faux leather jacket.
3. For a Fun White Elephant Christmas Party
Going over a friend’s house for a White Elephant Party? Wear something fun and flirty without resorting to the Ugly Christmas Sweater, and try this fit and flare dress with tights. If you still want that kitschy Christmas vibe, just add some crazy accessories, light-up earrings or a reindeer headband.
4. For your Family Holiday Dinner
Pull that roast out of the oven in style with this bodycon sweater dress, fun chandelier earrings and nude pumps. This is an outfit that is both comfortable and practical, keeping you snuggly and warm on those cold winter evenings, while formal enough for others to recognize you as the chic party host.
5. For the Office Christmas Party
For the office holiday party, find an outfit that can take you from day-to-night. This is a cute business casual office outfit switched up with these open-toed sandals, a gold cuff, and chandelier earrings. Have fun with your look while staying office-appropriate.
