6 Affordable Summer Maternity Looks
I’ve got some cute (and affordable) summer maternity looks hot off the press for you here! These are mostly from Target, because that is where I love to shop, and with each piece being under $75, you won’t have to break the bank to accommodate your growing baby bump.
For Running Errands in Style
Maternity Short Sleeve V-Neck Side Shirred T-Shirt
Maternity Side Panel Light Wash Jeggings

Similar Jacket: Draper James Field Jacket
I love this outfit! The top is a pink tie-dye shirt with side ruching from Target. It is long enough to cover everything, and fits better and better the bigger the bump gets. The jeans are super stretchy and soft, and fit great in the legs. However, because these are side panel jeans, I did not feel like they were comfortable around the waist until I was in the middle of my second trimester. I definitely recommend these jeans, because they feel so premium for the price (under $30). You can wear this outfit as is, with just the T-shirt and jeans, but the green utility jacket transforms this into a great transitional outfit for the Fall season.
For your Backyard Barbecue
Maternity Flutter Short Sleeve Rib Lace Top
This is a cute outfit for a backyard barbeque. The crochet detail on the sleeves adds some interest to this maternity top from Target, and the elastic band is comfortable and very accommodating. The top is also very flowy to help keep you cool. These shorts are not maternity shorts, but they are so stretchy and accommodating that I can get away with wearing these with the buttons done if I wear them below the bump!
For Brunch with the Girls
Turn a pleated midi skirt and a regular white crop tee into a beautiful two-piece dress. The skirt is light and airy, and the completely elastic band can accommodate your body at its different sizes. This outfit is great for before, during and after pregnancy. I pulled up the skirt above my baby bump in this style, allowing the crop top to fall into place without exposing any skin. Pair with comfortable sandals, and your outfit is complete. I love this skirt. I have worn this in several photoshoots, including our pregnancy announcement shoot paired with a button-down blouse, and in the summer lookbook shoot paired with a graphic tee. You can find this versatile skirt at Target.
For Prenatal Workouts
Whether your workout is a walk around the block, some prenatal yoga or a quick dumbbell workout, this outfit has you covered. The crop top is airy enough to keep you cool while you sweat, and these leggings are just plain comfortable. I have tried wearing my pre-pregnancy leggings with the waistband under the bump, but after a while the pressure from the waistband just gets too tight and uncomfortable, prompting me to change. These leggings are lightweight and comfortably rest above the bump. The elastic is soft and there are no uncomfortable pressure points. I bought these leggings as a two-pack from Amazon. You can work out in one pair, and lounge or run errands in the other!
For Church or Casual Dinner

Similar: Old Navy Maternity Side Panel Pixie Ankle Pants
Full disclosure, I am a Pink Blush Ambassador and I received this gray tunic (a $39 value) as a gift in exchange for creating content for Pink Blush Maternity. This top is soft and lightweight, and provides lots of coverage for growing bodies of all sizes. I thought this top would look great with shorts, but it is a little bit too long for standard-length shorts. However, it would be super cute with biker shorts, which are all the rage nowadays. I decided instead to create a more conservative outfit here, pairing the tunic with fitted ankle pants. These are non-maternity pants from the Crown & Ivy brand at Belk that no longer fit me (and are unbuttoned underneath this tunic), but I found a solution! Old Navy has maternity pixie pants that will give you a similar look, and are perhaps more comfortable for larger baby bumps.
For a Day in the Garden
Sometimes you just want something really quick to throw on that is both stylish and comfortable. This ultra soft T-shirt maxi dress is the house dress you can wear in public. It flows over curves, provides great coverage, and is light and breezy for those really warm summer days. There is also a knee-high slit to add interest. Pair with sandals and a sun hat for the ultimate summer outfit. This dress is from Amazon and comes in other colors, if you want to stock up.
You don’t have to break the bank to style your baby bump. I have found six affordable summer maternity looks that are perfect for every occasion, most of which can be worn after pregnancy so you don’t have to feel bad about spending the money. You can shop all of these pieces below!
